Youth Practices

The season is getting closer and we couldn't be more excited.  That said, we don't know when practices will officially begin.  The snow on the ground isn't ready to be gone yet.  We are shooting for the middle of March.

We do have some kids that want to try the sport before making an investment.  ALL YOUTH (3rd-8th grade) will be practicing inside at Ammon Elementary on Monday, March 1st from 4-5 pm.  Our sticks are currently at elementary schools so if you have a stick to share with a new kid, bring it and share your love of the sport. Bring your friends too!!!

Kimri will be available to parents with questions and to help with registration.

Youth Email 2/18/21

It is almost time to begin our Spring Season for our Youth Teams and we are so excited!  We have a lot of information to share so please read through all of it!

*We were hopeful we could begin our season at the beginning of March but mother nature has other plans.  That said, registration for IMLAX closes on March 5 (our 3/4, 5/6, & 7/8 grade teams play with IMLAX).  We want to allow newcomers to come and practice for a day before making a committment.  We have limited indoor space but were able to secure Ammon Elementary for a practice on March 1 from 4-5 pm.  Bring your friends and we will show them what a great sport this is.

*We estimate officially beginning practices mid-March assuming it is warm enough to play outside.  As we get closer, we will send an official practice schedule for each team.  We will have rentals available the first week of practices.

*Have you registered?  If not, do it now!!!!  IMLAX adds late fees in 5 days.  Don't wait.  Our website has all the information that you need to register.

*We are still looking for a 3/4 coach.  Interested? Please email me.  They are a great group of kids (I may be the mom to two of them).

*We have some dates and there is more to come. It will be a busy season with a lot of opportunity for growth.

-April 10th: Lacrosse Kickoff in Twin Falls (3/4, 5/6, 7/8)

-April 15th:  Vs. Idaho Falls at Woodland Hills. (They are trying to put together a K-2 team.  For sure our 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 grade teams will play)

          -April 17th:  Utah (for our 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 teams)

-April 24th:  Woodland Hills at 11 am (for our 7/8 grade team)

-May 1st:  Pocatello Tournament (3/4, 5/6, 7/8. We believe they will have some games for our K-2 team)

-May 6th:  Vs. Idaho Falls at Taylorview.  (They are trying to put together a K-2 team.  For sure our 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 grade teams will play)

          -May 8th:  Utah (for our 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 teams)

          - May 15th: Utah (for our 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 teams)

We are also trying to schedule games with Pocatello and Teton.  Stay Tuned.

Gear Purchase

Beginning in 2022, all field players in boys' lacrosse must have shoulder pads or protectors that meet the NOCSAE performance standard. Some manufacturers have already begun to introduce chest protection for boys' field players into the marketplace.  If you plan to purchase NEW gear, we would encourage to upgrade your shoulder pads now.

See you in the Spring!

It was so great to be back for a fall season.  There was so much unknown and we had more teams then we have ever had in the fall.  We are excited to see our program continue to grow.

We want all of our players back for Spring 2021 and we welcome all newcomers too.

Follow us on Facebook and watch our website for information when our registration will open for Spring 2021.  Our goal is to have co-ed teams from K-12.
